This is 'Starlight Express' completed and on the water.
The hull and superstructure were moulded in GRP by Aqua-Star, Guernsey, and delivered to Island Marine Craft for completion.
All interior joinery is in teak with a matt varnish to give a smart, but durable finish.

Starlight Express is fitted with twin Yanmar 315hp engines on conventional shaft drive with Sureseals. This gives her a top speed of 25 knots, cruising 20 knots - 22 knots. Steering is twin station hydraulic.
Forward is a guest cabin with twin berths with an infill cushion to form a large double. There is a large hanging wardrobe and stowage lockers each side under the side decks. Access to the chain locker is through the forward bulkhead.
Coming aft to starboard is the toilet / shower compartment with electric fresh water toilet, shower and stainless steel wash hand basin. The area is finished in white easy clean materials and enhanced with dark blue Velstone worktop.
The galley to port is fitted with a diesel hob and oven, stainless steel sink, hot and cold mixer tap. The area has been carefully designed to make use of all the available space for cupboards, drawers and stowage.
Opposite the galley on the port side is the dinette. This has a forward and aft facing seat with the table between. Once the table is dropped, this forms a large double berth. Under the dinette seat is the hot water cylinder, which is fitted with a coil from the main engine and an electric immersion heater.
Up steps to the main saloon with a helm position to starboard, which features a side sliding door for easy access to the main deck. Electronic displays, engine instrumentation and Morse electronic controls are set up on the main dashboard. To port is the navigation station, with chart stowage and which also houses the refrigerator. The U shaped settee to port has a double navigator seat forward which folds out when required. The table has folding leaves to give a secondary large dining area. The floor is finished in teak and holly boards which can be easily removed to access the main engines below.
From the saloon, steps down to the owners suite aft, with large central double berth, plenty of hanging lockers, drawers and other stowage and a separate shower / toilet compartment.
Steps up from the saloon lead to the aft deck and second helm position. Twin forward facing seats with swing backs and a large aft seat forms the perfect area for outside dining and entertaining. Through a gate to port, steps lead down to the bathing platform.
The aft deck, steps and bathing platform are finished with teak decking, while the forward and side decks are moulded in non-slip grey. All the decks are protected by a solid stainless steel pulpit rail, with companionway access each side. Heavy duty stainless bollards are fitted to the forward deck, amidships and aft.
Other equipment includes Eberspacher warm air heating to cabins, 240v shore hook-up, electric anchor winch with remote operation, Raymarine electronics package and many other details as specified by the owner.
